Another tool to consider is Yammer.
http://www.yammer.com Recent winners of Techcrunch 50.
Yammer is twitter for corporates and makes a good tool for in company collaboration and complements tools like Notes and Sharepoint.

TwitterHIT is a way to search for people in the timeline. Instead of tweets being returned, tweets are grouped into people. You can then choose who to add to your account.
