I have a question. My personal blog is with Wordpress.com and my entries feature very highly on relvant searches on Google.com. However the Wordpress site isn't picked up by Google.co.uk (I live in the UK) very well - if at all.
For good Google UK covereage, is their a UK site that I should be using that is equally highly recognisised by Google.co.uk?

Wordpress is a popular blogging software site, and you will be picked up and indexed in due course, but as with any website that needs promotion, you have to lead vistors, including engines to your website via external links.

Don't forget to submit your URL to be indexed by Google, as this can *sometimes* help things move a little bit faster. There's also a few other useful resources lying around their webmaster section, which can be great for smaller sites and personal blogs.

Thanks to Sarah and Jake ...
It just seems odd to me that google.com features my blog (in searches) so strongly - but google.co.uk doesn't find me.
Are we saying that google.co.uk will get their in the end?

Another possibility is that your domain is a .com and so Google.com will pick this up with more regularity than .co.uk
