The internet is changing constantly. Whilst many of us spend time trying to adapt, the real opportunities for marketing professionals are in this constantly shifting landscape. This talk explains the development of this flux and offers some key guiding principles in the context of marketing. Developing digital content is a lot like telling stories. There are scenes (contexts), characters (personas), narratives (scenarios), plots (tasks) and denouements (conversions). Like a good story, the best digital content guides, engages and persuades its readers.

In this session, Tim will explore the storytelling techniques that you can use to energise your content strategy. You’ll come away with fresh ideas on how to gain insights into your users’ desires and frustrations. You’ll discover ways to develop more effective solutions, learn how to communicate better with clients, colleagues and stakeholders on your projects – and ultimately have fun while you’re doing it.
