Hi - I'm wondering if anyone knows who produces Net-a-porter's product video snippets - the ones you see when you're actually viewing a product, just before you click to buy or add to your basket.
Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but they are just flv videos which appear and play on the screen via javascript. Other than filming and potential video processing all that needs to be done is the javascript and the association of videos with each product in the database and application.
It's a similar thing with other sites such as Esprit, M&S, etc.

The best way to decide what to place on a page is to work out your visitor objections and counter those objections.
Is video the best thing to do the above if yes then use video if not save yourself some money.

If you are looking for a video service to host and stream videos then check out vzaar. The service allows you to easily add video to your website and you can customise the look and feel of your player. If you have any questions on the service I would be happy to help.
