There's a conference in London in November that those of you trying to get to grips with the Content to Commerce model might be interested in. Check out:

... Compelling Content is one of the best tools to drive users to a site and entice them to purchase on-line.
VC's also tend look far more favourably on those companies with a Content to Commerce model than those that merely try to drive advertising from content.
Retailers should also view content as their "sales pitch" and selling environment for their goods and services. This draws them into a market that they know little about (creation of content) and is one of the key drivers for New Media partnerships, where retailers and media companies unite.
