London, August 20, 2004 - DoubleClick Inc. (NASDAQ: DCLK), a leading provider of marketing solutions for advertising agencies, marketers and web publishers, today announced that in the first half of the year, 86 customers began using products within the company’s online ad management division. Twenty-seven of the clients were in Europe, the Middle East or Africa (EMEA), eight were in Asia Pacific (APAC), with the balance from the United States. The biggest concentration of accounts in EMEA came from France and the UK, and from Australia in APAC, indicating positive growth in those countries. The company also announced 43 new online ad management renewals in the first half of the year.
The clients will leverage DoubleClick’s ad management solutions, including DART® for Advertisers, DART® for Publishers, DART® Enterprise, MediaVisorSM and DART® Motif to efficiently manage, serve and report on online ads, including rich media.
New clients include Business Review Online Ltd, the operator of vertical industry web properties, Date.com, an online dating site, UNext, an Internet education company, and Wieden + Kennedy, an independent advertising agency. Other ad management wins previously announced during the first half of the year include ESPN Star Sports and Sports Illustrated.

Carat Interactive Inc, also signed a global renewal for DoubleClick to serve as its preferred provider for ad serving and rich media.
