Hi - I am looking for a provider of an internet merchant account for a client based in the Cayman Islands - www.tarawalkersdream.com.
Tara is investing in new products and an upgraded site and wants to move away from PayPal.
My experience to date has been;
1. Her own Cayman bank won't provide an IMA because she has no physical store front.
2. Worldpay won't provide their service because they don't do the Cayman Islands.
I would be really grateful if someone with experience of similar issues could advise where we might be successful before I begin to trawl through the long list of options myself.
I was thinking Google Checkout might be an answer, but can't see any info about the geography they cover.
Thanks

Hi Iain
Try Amanda Molyneux and Company www.molybank.com for offshore banking. Don't know if they do internet merchant accounts specifically, but they should have the right sort of contacts! It's worth ringing for a chat as they are pretty knowledgable.
Google Checkout might do the job for you, but the territories are restricted, so it might not be available.
