Any recommendations for software that checks your website's accessibility, spelling, broken links, and more? I've had two quotes for Compliance Sheriff and Rational Policy Tester and wondered what experience people have had with these products or similar. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I think that spellcheck and 'broken link' checking software is well-serviced as these are pretty simple algorithms, so I'll only discuss accessibility.
The W3C's excellent Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) have been the de-facto standard for web accessibility for some years now. [1]
The Guidelines are just that however: guidelines. Not a series of programmatically verifiable 'yes / no' conditions and it's very hard to evaluate them with computers.
My best advice would be to engage a reputable accessibility testing agency who can not only evaluate sensibly against the guidelines, but give you simple steps to rectify any problems and make easy improvements.
I've not used Shaw Trust [2], but I know they've been working in this field for some time and it might be worth approaching them. Good luck!

Out of interest, does anyone here use Compliance Sheriff or Rational Policy tester, or indeed any other programme to cover off the needs I mentioned?
