I've been working in the industry for over five years but I don't have any formal qualifications - is the MSc right for me?
Digital qualifications have failed to keep pace with the explosion in the industry leading to many experienced practitioners having no formally recognised accreditation. Our MSc gives you the perfect opportunity to consolidate your knowledge, ensuring you remain at the forefront of this quickly evolving discipline whilst gaining an academically rigorous and internationally recognised qualification.
I only want to do the Postgraduate Certificate or Diploma - is that possible?
Yes. The course is divided into three stages which build to form the full MSc, but on the part-time study option you can stop at the end of each year and graduate to claim the relevant award.
Is there any funding available to help pay for the course?
The majority of delegates are funded through professional qualifications by their employers, but there is funding available through the Government's Career Development Loans, as well as some regional schemes - we're happy to provide advise as necessary once we understand your circumstances.
You should also be aware that there are discounts available for individuals planning on taking on the programmes and who currently hold either a Enterprise Econsultancy membership of previous professional qualification awarded by Econsultancy and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Can I pay in instalments?
There are a number of payment plan options available for delegates applying and confirming their places early. Full details will be made available with your application pack and deadlines will depend on the certificate and intake you're interested in.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions regarding cancelling your place.
I've been to Econsultancy courses before - can I count them towards the MSc?
Due to the specialist nature of the certificate programmes and their highly practical nature we are running specific training days rather than drawing the sessions from our public training schedule, so previously attended Econsultancy training will not count towards the graduate certificate.
Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for more information and speak directly to the qualifications team for advice.
What kind of support do I receive?
Enrolment as a student at Manchester Metropolitan University gives you access to their library systems, including the extensive journal archive, as well as a number of university libraries nationwide.
Coupled with a free Econsultancy subscription with access to over half a million pages of content, you should have ready access to all the resources you need throughout your course.
In addition, your Econsultancy membership gives you invitations to events, discounts, early notice of newly published Econsultancy reports and online forums with our trainers.
As an Econsultancy member and part of the Econsultancy Qualifications Alumni community, you can connect with delegates from all our academic programmes past and present.
And finally, you will also receive an NUS card which gives you discounts on books, software and Pizza Hut among others!
