A hard working online marketer, merchandiser and web analyst. I moved away from full time web analytics to take on the world of online merchandising at Argos, now taking on a more strategic role looking at the future strategy of online trading and merchandising across Argos' digital channels (web and mobile), while still keeping analytics at the heart of what we do. I've been working at Argos for over 5 years, and love the challenges thrown at me every day. And any specific goals? Well apart from watching the Monaco GP from a yacht I'll one day own, and visiting every football ground in England (done almost half of them!), I want to move up the development ladder as fast as possible, ending up as eCommerce Director, having learnt from some of the greats along the way!
In my current role as Online Trading & Merchandising Manager, I am responsible for the online sales number at Argos.co.uk, and the development of the Online Trading & Merchandising Team. Heading up a team of 13 online trading and merchandising professionals covering all of our online channels (Argos.co.uk, Argos.ie, Apps & Mobile Sites) my role is to ensure we're exceeding our online sales targets, and successfully achieving the company objectives online, developing our strategy and ensuring we have the tools to achieve our goals over the coming 3 years. This includes planning online promotional support in conjunction with digital marketing teams, working with trading on new product launches, and working to develop Argos.co.uk and our other online channels such as mobile, to ensure the best return and customer experience possible. Within this role, I have also been part of the Website Experience project to redesign Argos.co.uk, and continue to be one of the key stakeholders and requirements drivers in the future developments of our digital channels.
