MMS Market Penetration in Europe

Most of the operators are being fairly close to their chest with actual penetration figures, however there is a recent study by the MDA (Mobile Data Association) which quotes the UK MMS penetration figures as being 24% for MMS and 35% for GPRS.

"From a total active customer base of over 47.5 million, (defined as having used the device at least once in the previous three months) GPRS active devices topped 16.5 million as of 31st March 2004. This figure represents a 35% penetration rate for GPRS devices for the total UK market. "
