I have an Amazon Affiliate site, draing products directly from Amazon, and allowing full checkout on the site itself.
I have a .co.uk and a .com of the same domain name, and I am signed up with both Amazon.co.uk and .com
Now, ignoring the business 'model' itself (I'm playing with this for a small residual income for someone so we're not expecting massive results) - I am in a quandry.
The .co.uk, hosted on my own UK hosting account, I'm happy enough with.
I wanted a clone of the site, drawing from Amazon.com on the .com version, mainly to service the US, etc.
1. Am I better hosting the .com on a US server?
2. How do I know if it is a US server prior to actually taking the hosting account?
3. I have an account with GoDaddy - if I take some hosting from them, is it likely to be in the US, since that seems to be where they hang out?
