I've been involved in New Media since 1995, back when almost nobody had email addresses, mobile phones, or even computers in their houses. I've watched and been part of the growth, which has been interesting/frustrating/stupid/exciting.
The best digital work combines innovation, usability and reliability, to deliver solid, measurable results. For a strategy to succeed, it has to be a faultless translation of a brand identity into digital product or service, delivered to the consumer exactly where and how they want.
Organisations are held back by legacy systems, limited budget, uncooperative staff, fear of change, and all the factors that stifle success before it has a chance to be measured.
My work with clients is based on an ability to shape and share the vision of success, and to find the path that avoids the obstacles that can so easily derail or devalue a project.
I like to make things work, and deliver on their potential - whether that's people, websites, my bicycle, whatever.
