Has anyone else come across this? I was looking for Bodean's vouchers, clicked on a link for groupon, hit the back button and got a new line appearing asking if I wanted to block all results from groupon. I tested it for the PPC link as well and got this up;
Block all groupon.co.uk/Vouchers ads
Get Deals & Brilliant Vouchers
Fantastic Vouchers up to 70% Off!
Am I really late to the party on this?!

I have discovered an answer to my own question already;
"Ads on Search and Gmail
With personalized ads, we can improve your ad experience by showing you ads related to websites you visit, recent searches and clicks, or information from your Gmail inbox.
Google tries to show you the most relevant ads, whether or not you're opted in to seeing personalized ads. While we often match ads with specific pages (based on the page content or the search terms you enter), additional information helps us personalize your ads. Learn more

On this site, you can block ads that you don't like. By blocking an ad, that ad and any other ad linking to that website will no longer appear in your Gmail or Google search as long as you're signed in.
If you change your mind, you can unblock the advertiser later using this page. You may block up to 500 advertisers. Since blocking an ad or advertiser with this action applies to the specific website in the ad, you may still see related ads for other websites. Learn more"
So, there we are then! That will learn me to ask before I read up...
