I'm frustrated by the way sources are cited in many infographics.
It's very common, but picking on a specific example...in the email stat collection that leads this piece, the sources are cited together at the bottom with no connection to the individual stats.
When something looks off (a 68% marketing offer interaction rate is a lot higher than anything that's ever come up in our studies) the only option is to go hunting through each source.
That's more likely to leave the reader discounting the findings than happily combing through primary sources.
It's lazy information design.
