Career History

Managing Director at Experian Integrated Marketing
From June 13, 2006 until September 9, 2008.

EIM is the UK market leader in large scale, multi-channel consumer marketing solutions and services as well as the UK's leading provider of targeted consumer data. I joined ClarityBlue as Managing Partner, as it was being acquired by Experian, during this time I led the re-design of Experian’s UK marketing businesses leading to the integration of 7 businesses (including CheetahMail and Hitwise), forming EIM and talking responsibility for the development of EIM’s digital strategy with clients such as Yahoo, eBay and Microsoft. Clients for which I held global responsibility included BSkyB (News International), Microsoft Xbox and Skype, where we provided a comprehensive range of hosted SaaS services, delivering resources and solutions within an on-demand model.

Non-Exec at Simon Holdings
From May 3, 2004 until May 12, 2006.

A multinational Plc operating in the media, internet and professional services sectors. Worked with the CEO to define his leadership agenda, renew their group strategy and revisit the business plans for each major line of business. Advised on the disposal plan for non-core businesses and a re-branding strategy for their main business. Coached and developed the executive team and implemented a new performance management programme.

Senior Partner at KPMG Consulting
From January 10, 2001 until April 19, 2004.

I joined KPMG Consulting as Client Partner with P&L responsibilities for O2 and Telewest (now Virgin Media) and a business development focus upon the media and broadband internet sectors. I also led the Business Assurance function across the UK consulting practice managing teams that supported the opportunity funnel and legal framework. During this time I worked closely with the board of BT Cellnet launching the O2 brand into the UK marketplace in 2002, transforming the business model for multi-proposition retail outlets and integrating the customer experience across the key touch points (internet, call centre, retail). A member of the Partner team that sold KPMG Consulting to Atos Origin.
