Looking for an offline Public Relations agency to help get the word out about an innovative new website. Seeking exposure in the press etc.
There's literally hundreds out there and was wondering if anybody had any recommendations of effective and reasonably priced ones?
Thank you.

Hi,
I am head of Bus Dev for Adify.com. After a pretty long and fruitless selection process I couldn't find a suitable agency, in the end I took a recomemndation from a good freind for a company called Punch Communications. They have been with us for 6 months and we just renewed for the next year.
The company is run by Pete Goold and all round he and his team have been superb. Their attention to detail and tenacity are second to none.
We have had numerous National, industry and new media inserts as well as lots of help and advice in creating live events and planning for adtech.
I couldn't recomend them highly enough.
If you wouldd like their details then drop me a line:

Azambiz,
We can help you gain exposure in U.S. media.
The Word Hive is a boutique agency that concentrates on meeting the specific public relations needs of a few select clients. We keep overhead low so our prices are quite reasonable, but we have the experience, instincts and drive to effectively do the job.
We'd be happy to explore this with you.

Try Complete Media Group (www.completemediagroup.co.uk, +44 [0]20 7420 3550 ) they look very corporate but have a great maverick streak too. Good luck.

It depends on what you mean by reasonable. When it comes to PR we work with partners who are leaders in the PR industry at a global level. As such the cost can be between £2000-9000 / month. But that's proper professional PR. Let me know if it's of interest.
