I am the founder of CrisisVu (www.CrisisVu.com), an innovative new media monitoring service that allows users to visualise online conversations that match their search terms in an intuitive, real-time mindmap presentation. We launched on US Presidential Election day and CrisisVu accurately predicted that Obama would remain as President, based upon our monitoring of the Twitter buzz.
After a career directing corporate communications for large companies and multinationals, and handling numerous issues and crises, I became frustrated with the inflexibility and increasing complexity of dashboard style monitoring solutions.
Dashboards can rapidly become overwhelmed by the sheer volume of data that floods in during a crisis and I thought there had to be a better way of viewing and managing the social media response. There was – and now there is - CrisisVu!
CrisisVu uses ‘instant’ real-time server technology to ensure new results appear instantly on screen, and intuitive visual perception techniques (that we all learnt as toddlers) to ensure users can see the significance and business impact of their searches in absolute clarity.
Serving customers in the Marketing, Corporate Communications, Financial, Customer Services and Government/Security/NGO sectors, CrisisVu puts you back in control, providing a helicopter overview of conversations about your brand and letting you respond to critical incidents quickly and effectively.
