Hi All. Has anyone got any thoughts on how I could use digital channels to re-launch an over 50s website which offers editorial and deals specifically for this age group? Have used facebook and online pr as a source for lead generation in the past, but I need to grow users quickly? Budgets are tiny... Thx

I know your budget is limited...
But consider a PPC campaign where your keywords are not in high demand and affordable.
Build campaigns where your KWs are lifestyle-driven.
I doubt many people under fifty are searching for [Cliff Richard], [nursing home] or [grandchildren].
-Test a bunch of these KWs and you should find some winners.
-Run geo-targeted campaigns in appropriate zipcodes.
-To enhance lead gen economics, reward your converted prospects to refer a friend.

My experience is that this demographic share information and resources amongst their own networks (email, telephone and in person). I would look into creating a referral incentive scheme or at least promoting the fact that you would appreciate your visitors sharing the site with their friends.
If the website is a good resource and / or saves them money / time I'm sure most visitors would be happy to oblige.
In terms of looking at digital channels you could source the popular forums used by your audience and start discussions making sure that you link back to your website.
I hope that helps.
