Job Description

Data analyst

Turning data into insight to inform digital decision-making

We are looking for…

An experienced data analyst to develop and enhance our client’s digital strategies. You’ll have up-to-date knowledge of current data analysis techniques and plenty of digital commercial experience.

What’s the role?

Working closely with our Client Services, Solutions and User Experience teams, you’ll analyse data to support our clients’ digital strategies. This might mean analysing existing research, finding supporting research or providing competitive analysis to help clients refine and optimise their digital channels.

You’ll produce insights through data analysis, and work with the teams to develop these into practical recommendations. You’ll also deliver qualitative and quantitative analyses to support decision-making.

You are someone who:

  • draws clear insight and solutions from high-volume, diverse data
  • communicates results clearly, both to the team and to clients
  • can help us win new business – you’ll contribute enthusiastically to pitches
  • enjoys developing data-driven customer contact strategies
  • provides valuable insight into how clients’ digital programs are performing, by designing and managing reporting frameworks

Candidate Requirements

Boxes to tick:

  • experience of providing analysis to support digital strategies – ideally in an agency environment
  • proven experience in behavioural targeting and multivariate testing
  • significant experience building bespoke segmentations
  • experience of working across a wide range of channels – including search, email, affiliates and aggregators
  • strong analytical skills
  • experience with web analytics packages such as Google Analytics, WebTrends, RedEye, SpeedTrap and Nedstat.
  • experience with Content Management Systems, ideally EpiServer, Drupal and Percussion
  • experience of Customer Relationship Management systems and customer data

What’s in it for you?

You’ll be working for a successful, award-winning digital agency in central London. You will be part of a creative, talented team and play a key role in providing online business solutions for big-name clients – public sector organisations, blue-chip corporate clients and world-famous brands.

We offer a superb package, an enthusiastic family atmosphere and a personal development and training plan.

Why now? Why Fortune Cookie?

We're expanding rapidly, even in this challenging climate– all because of our ruthless focus on delivering measurable ROI for our clients. As we continue to grow, we need more brilliant people to deliver more world-class work to our clients.
