The Online Sales channel plays a central role in acquiring and retaining customers for O2. The role holder will be responsible for supporting the Online Marketing team in developing and growing O2’s online marketing strategy for acquiring new customers through the online and telesales channels.Partnership marketing is critical to enabling O2 to meet aggressive online targets in an increasingly competitive market. The role holder will be responsible for the overall management and execution of large scale partnership activity with a view to maximising sales volumes for the online sales channel. <ul> <li>Take overall end to end ownership for the partnership marketing function for O2. This includes management of existing affiliate networks as well as direct affiliates and driving forward new strategic partnerships across our expanding product portfolio (core mobile, broadband and financial services products.) </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Proactively identify, evaluate and develop a portfolio of lucrative new partnerships that enable O2 to market products to new and strategically advantageous segments.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Continually monitor & evaluate the performance of online partners and agencies to ensure that performance meets the O2 best of class online strategy.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work with the Senior Online Marketing Managers to develop a strategic sales & marketing plan for partnership marketing to meet the online growth objectives of the business.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Create concise, regular and logical partnership marketing plans for both existing and new products that further the cost-effective growth of partnership marketing in line with online sales objectives.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Act as the partnership marketing champion within O2 to ensure that knowledge is disseminated appropriately and is at the forefront of all relevant campaigns.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Manage best of class relationships with key partners/affiliates to ensure that O2 is extracting sufficient knowledge and benefitting from applicable opportunities.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Present regular updates on partnership marketing performance to key stakeholders within the business.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work with the relevant agencies to create a cohesive mechanism to regularly report on partnership marketing results including competitor analysis and benchmarking.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Work with the wider online team and key stakeholders within the business to ensure that marketing communications feature the most effective product features / USPs to promote and sell products.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Stay abreast of developments within the affiliate marketing industry to ensure that O2 is best positioned to capitalise on any opportunities and mitigate threats appropriately.</li> </ul>
