The role We want someone to join our diverse Creative Design team to create and deliver outstanding designs and digital experiences. You will believe that the devil is in the detail, and that pushing the art of what is possible drives your creativity. You are hungry for all things digital design, probably ask too many questions, have an open and inquisitive mind, and are looking for a home to create your best work and see where the world goes next. Responsibilities We expect the successful applicant to be capable of: · Generating inspiring conceptual and project design work that meets the tough demands of users and technology. · Working in a team environment with a strong emphasis on collaboration with User Experience Architects, Copywriters, Experience Planners, Developers and the Business team to create detailed client focused delivery. · Providing leadership and mentoring for junior members of the team and to help them create the best design work. · Maintaining regular contact with other internal teams including front and back end developers on a specific project when required to ensure a consistent approach to the design style and branding of the project output. The Creative Design team The Creative Design team is part of the Interactive Media team. A Senior Creative Designer, you will be integral to the future success of this team. Senior Creative Designers work closely with Art Directors to shape and inspire design solutions, and are frequently required to lead the design phase of a project. EMC Conchango has strong relationships with our clients and you may be required to work both at a client site in addition to the company offices in London and Egham. Each member of the Creative Design team is expected to be proactive and manage their own responsibilities both on projects and in the team itself. Experience We are looking for the successful applicant to have: · Three years or more of commercial experience, preferably for leading brands in retail, travel, energy, finance, media and entertainment and other areas. · A strong and varied portfolio of work showcasing creative design, your approach and your design development for digital projects (we would like to see how you work and how you worked within a team towards your final design deliverable). · An understanding of branding, strategic and marketing considerations. · An excellent understanding of designing for technology required to build digital interactive solutions and experiences. Experience of designing for video, CSS, Java, dHTML, 3D, Flash and Silverlight is desirable. · An understanding of the principles, techniques and considerations associated with designing for accessibility.
