Google has added an option to its news service that allows users to scroll through images in search of stories.
News images are displayed with the name of the site they come from, and when you hover your mouse over an image, the news description will move to the top of the list on the right. Click on an image and it will take you to that article.
Also - unlike Google News - the headlines do not list a range of sources for the same story, as images used on internet news sites are often stock photos, and are not necessarily related to the article in question.
It's an attractive way of looking through articles, but whether people want to search via images is another matter. The standard Google News is much easier and quicker to use.
