UK Research Director at internet research and training company Econsultancy.
Econsultancy, which has offices in London and New York, is a community-based publisher offering analysis and insight about digital marketing and e-commerce to 100,000 registered users.
The research team produces buyers' guides, best practice reports, survey-based research and trend briefings about a range of subjects, from search engine marketing to web analytics and e-commerce platforms to social media.
I have spoken regularly at industry events and conferences, and contribute to the well-respected Econsultancy blog.
Econsultancy was named in a list of 30 companies to watch in a report published by research company Outsell, Inc, in December 2009.
The 'Information Industry Outlook 2010' included Econsultancy in a list which also featured Apple Computer, Bloomberg, Google, Hearst Business Media, LinkedIn and News Corp.
As an analyst and marketing consultant, I have experience in several sectors including internet marketing, e-commerce, IT and financial services.
I previously worked as a newspaper journalist for eight years, and have degrees from Oxford University (BA Hons in Classics) and Cranfield School of Management (MBA).
