2 questions I'd be interested in getting your feedback on:
1. Do you think it is true that average CPM rates in the UK will continue to fall as more sites become available and to come more in line with the US? Or will more targeted advertising and rich media ads allow CPM rates to be maintained at current levels? How can an online media owner ensure they get the best CPM rates (targeting, rich media, niche markets..)?
2. At what point should ad sales be taken in house versus outsourced to the likes of Doubleclick, RealMedia, 24/7 etc.? Recently many big companies have gone in-house. Some articles suggest you need around 10m page impressions a month for it to be financially sensible to go in-house.
