Attracting the right talent and effectively structuring your Ecommerce organization are the keys to rapid and sustainable business growth. In this webinar you will hear perspectives on roles and responsibilities within an Ecommerce organization, creating an optimal team structure, a phased approach to growing your team, and how to attract and retain the right talent for your company. Led by an Ecommerce veteran who’s been building top-notch teams at Williams-Sonoma, Dell, and Crutchfield over the past 15 years, this webinar will help you ensure that your team members perform at a world-class level—and are excited about their role in your company’s success.
Andy Stevenson, Ecommerce Consultant & Marketing Executive
Andy Stevenson believes that at the root of great marketing lies a rewarding customer experience, a philosophy that he’s carried through his work at companies of all sizes.
Andy joined Dell’s fledgling consumer business in 1998, helping grow its annual consumer e-commerce revenues from $100 million to nearly $2 billion through relaunching and expanding its website and broadening its customer acquisition efforts. Later, he joined Crutchfield Corporation, a mid-sized, highly regarded electronics retailer. While there he helped the company break revenue records while winning awards for customer service, “Multichannel Merchant of the Year,” and the Gold Award from Multichannel Merchant magazine for “Web Site of the Year."
More recently, Andy was Vice President of E-Commerce at Williams-Sonoma, helping relaunch the company’s web site and significantly boost its acquisition efforts and revenues. In his most recent position, he served as Vice President of Marketing at BrickHouse Security, a smaller company that he helped propel to its status as a member of both the “Inc. 500” and the “Internet Retailer Top 500."
For the past two years, Andy has consulted with several leading etailers, including Ashford.com, which he helped become the 5th-fastest-growing web-only retailer, Maclaren, and Dylan’s Candy Bar, where he’s driven over 50 percent growth in revenue per visitor. He is an experienced, employee-focused manager who works hard to bring energy and passion to any situation and is a great partner and collaborator, whether he’s working with the CEO or an entry-level employee.
Andy earned his MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University, and his BA from Oberlin College. He enjoys spending time with his three children, participating in sports, and serving as a mentor in a NYC-area mentoring program.
