We are looking at maybe offering our clients video as part of our web design / SEO service and wonder if we should set up a new branded site for this with a more relevent .tv domain name, or just add this new service to the existing site and maybe change the domain to .tv rather than .co.uk...or just leave the domain as is? Any thoughts much appreciated! Julian

Realistically video should just be part of your digital strategy. If you split off to another website, that means you have 2 websites to host, 2 websites to update and monitor which will waste time.
Just have a clear section on your website to showcase these new services. I haven't seen many agencies using .tv for their domains.
Best of luck though with whatever route you choose to go down.

In short, I agree with Jaz. Video is just a format of content so it part of any SEO (or other) strategy so shouldn't be treated separately albeit you can emphasise your expertise in this area.
