London, UK, 20th January 2004 –- Participation TV specialist Red Fig has been appointed for the second consecutive year to manage the public vote for Granada’s BAFTA winning series I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.
Red Fig’s Gallery Manager will capture the votes from all platforms (telephony, SMS and iDTV) in real time and report them live via the web to the production teams both in the UK and on location in Australia. Votes during week one will determine which celebrity performs the daily Bushtucker Trial, and in the second week viewers will vote to keep their favourite contestant in the camp. The celebrity with the least number of public votes each night will be evicted.
The previous series was a huge hit with British viewers peaking at an impressive 50% share with more than 12.5 million viewers tuning in for the live final, in which ex-England cricketer Phil Tufnell was crowned King of the Jungle. Red Fig handled the phone, SMS and iDTV votes over the course of the series, which generated over £1,000,000 for charity.

Red Fig will receive SMS votes from Broadsystem and iDTV votes from Granada / Sky before aggregating them with the telephony votes to provide the full results data.
The new series starts on Monday 26th January at 9pm on ITV1 and broadcasts on ITV1 every night for a fortnight, followed by a live show on ITV2 as well as live streaming throughout the night, repeated the following day on ITV2.
