One of my duties at my new job is to design email newsletters for the business. i have researched other similar companies newsletters and the majority use many images to show products and advertise sales etc. I have been told that using images could become a problem in different browsers and email clients and the customer may not be able to view the images at all.
Does anyone know a way to create beautiful imagery in the email without compromising the content?

Hi Lauren,
There are ways to design so that your email campaigns will generate maximum response even if images are not displayed, but also this is about making the emails as targeted & valued as possible, so that your recipients will be motivated to add you to their 'safe sender' list - then images are displayed automtically.
Just an initial comment which I hope may be of some help? Contact me off-forum if you would like further assistance.
Kind regards,

Hi Lauren
It is possible to show different versions of the email (e.g. one with, and one without, images) depending on the device/browser e.g. see this blog post: http://econsultancy.com/uk/blog/10377-two-ways-to-use-css-in-email-yes-that-s-right-email
