It's been a while since posting on the e-consultancy forum, but I have a question that someone out there should be able to assist me with.
We currently host a blog on our UK language sites but are looking to extend this to other countries (though obviously remaining in English). Given the, ahem, prevalence of state control in China, is there a risk that if that blog, which is frame embedded into our other sites currently, were to incur the wrath of the authorities that this could affect our site there?
Obviously we would be wary and monitor any posts that might cause a problem there, but some advice would be great!

Hi David,
yes, there could be an issue with a blog aimed at a Chinese audience. From a technical perspective I would suggest that you use your own blog platform that you host yousef on your own server or hosting space. That will allow you to control how things work and to also make any modifications later on if needed.
I hope this helps. We actually have some good experience with sites aimed at the chinese market as well as doing searh engine optimisation/optimization in chinese or for a chinese audience. So anything relevant you may need, feel free to get in touch.
