Following on from last year's round up, I've gathered together ten more excellent infographics which show how mobile is changing the face of digital marketing.
Topics covered include global usage trends, mobile search, mobile email, and the growth of mobile commerce.
Where possible, I've added the infographics to this post in a readable size, but for others you can click on the image to see a larger version...

Fantastic infographics - its really interesting to see what people are looking for while waiting at airports! Also interesting to see who people trust when making a mobile purchase and how few actually like it!

What I love about infographics is they take very complex data and make it easy to digest. There are a lot of facts and figures surrounding mobile, so to have it laid out like this makes it very easy for anyone to understand.

I am impressed with the infographics. Who works on these for you? What resources do you suggest for creating infographics like these?

With regard to designing/coding for mobile devices, does this mean all emails viewed on a desktop and laptop in Yahoo, Gmail, Outlook, etc will be narrower (320-550px wide)? in other words, should all emails now be designed and coded based on mobile device best practices, regardless of where it is viewed (Yahoo on a desktop)? Thanks in advance!

Mobile Computer screens will get bigger in physical size and resolution size, as will mobile internet connections - thus making mobile optimisation less and less necessary.

Continually impressed with the breadth of data displayed in these infographics. I'm currently very keen to identify opportunities in the mobile market for the financial services industry. Would love to see an infographic focused on mCommerce in the UK; are there any insurers making significant progress with mobile?

Those infographics have defiantly blown my mind away! Data visualisation is becoming so popular now, as users can digest this information so easily in comparison of reading reams of copy!

Interesting infographics. It will be interesting to see in the future what happens with mobile advertising and how that changes how we use our mobile devices.
Augmented reality is an interesting development as well.

Most of the data in the mobile industry focuses on the number of mobile users and the types of devices they use.
But just what exactly are those mobile users doing and what types of apps are they using?
This infographic aims to shed a little light on mobile app usage in 2012:

Do you think Mobile Carriers like Verizon/ AT&T will open their own App stores for native programming that offers distinctive caller/ interface functionality over Android and Apple Apps etc?
