Inspired by the works of our reporting superstar David Moth, I decided that with all these big brands being covered in our series on social strategies, it was high time we threw our own hat into the ring.
As I’m the one doing it (and an egomaniac), I thought it might be fun to talk about how (and why) we use different social channels at Econsultancy...

In my last post about digital transformation, I spoke about the need for companies to realign their internal structures, enabling them to react quickly to customer feedback.

This week the tech scene has been alive with buzz about Microsoft’s business model.
CEO Steve Ballmer has yet to make any official statements (at least at time of writing), but speculation is rife that the company are set to undergo a large-scale restructuring, in order to become, in Ballmer’s own words, a ‘Devices and Services’ company.

In the run-up to our Integrated Marketing Week event in New York on June 10th, we’ve been holding a series of Video Expert panels over on our Google+ page.
As with any barely tested, slightly-wobbly video technology, we’ve had a couple of hiccups along the way.
Fortunately we’ve learned from our mistakes, and now you can too. Here’s how to use the new look Google+ to hold a great On Air hangout...

While it’s only one facet of our social output, Twitter often offers us a good overview of general trends in site traffic and response for Econsultancy, making it a good benchmark for content marketing performance.
A while ago I wrote about identifying and addressing the churn from your Twitter account, and it feels to me as though this churn highlights a more widespread problem with content marketing: The need for consistency.
