Broadband service provider Be Broadband has just launched a brand new version of its website, and it's not proving to be too popular with customers so far.
The company, to its credit, has admitted as much on its Twitter account: 'We get the gist
of the feedback; our new website is live and you don’t like the look of
it. We’ll listen and learn over the next few days.'

Insurance firm Hiscox relaunched its UK website at the beginning of the month, with the aim of simplifying the company's online offering.
As well as providing general information about the firm, the Hiscox UK site allows customers to apply for insurance quotes and buy policies online. Providing complex financial products online can be a challenge, so I've been seeing how Hiscox performs in this area...

Flight search aggregator Nowfly was launched at the end of last year, and the company has just launched a redesigned version of the site.
I reviewed the website in December shortly after it launched, and also interviewed CEO Dan Hart. I've been seeing what changes have been made to the Nowfly website.

The Telegraph has just released a revamped version of its mobile site, providing access to the full range of content on the main website.
As with the Independent's mobile version released last week, theTelegraph mobile site was designed by Bluestar Mobile. I've been comparing the two sites...

I wrote yesterday wondering why Sky didn't offer one-off coverage of sporting events like the Ashes online, as a way to pull in more revenue and attracting new users.
Having noticed that Sky has since introduced a special offer price of £17 for a month's subscription online, I decided to sign up for it, but discovered that the usability on Sky.com needs some work....

While the average usability score for local council websites has improved over last year, there is still plenty of work to be done to improve the user experience, according to a new report.
Webcredible's Local Council Websites report (registration required) gave an average score of 59.9% for usability, an improvement on last year's average of 56.6%.

The Daily Express, which bills itself as 'the world's greatest newspaper' has launched a new beta version of its website today with a new homepage layout.
Users are currently directed to the new version, while giving readers the option of using the original site, which provides an opportunity to compare the two...

Having been one of the higher profile victims of the credit crunch, Shop Direct Group relaunched Woolworths today as an online retailer.
There is still some affection and nostalgia for the brand, so resurrecting it online seems like a smart move, but how does the Woolworths website shape up?
