I often browse the web by grabbing text and dragging it into my Google Toolbar, which will open a new search page. It will open up a website for me, in the event that I drag a domain name into the search window.
I don’t expect I’m alone in exhibiting this kind of search behaviour, but there is a problem. Many firms, including some big brands, do not cater for a www-less version of their domain name.

Hundreds of internet pros turned up for last night’s Lemon Studios Summer Party at The Havana Bar & Club in London, which was roaring good fun.
Many attendees will be in full-on recovery mode judging by some of the strategic quaffing we witnessed. The cocktails were especially dangerous, particularly those that were tipped into glasses the size of small baths.

There are some sure signs that we’re not in a bubble, despite some of the big money being hosed at disruptive startups such as Zillow and Jobster.

I've been watching this story about Polo Ralph Lauren's ever-so-literal 'window shopping' for the past week, wondering if most people were thinking just what I was thinking.
Supposedly inspired by Spielberg's film adaption of Minority Report, Ralph Lauren has come up with a hybrid touch-screen shop window, where passers-by can shop by touching the window and selecting the items they see in the window.

Former BetonSports chief executive David Carruthers pleaded not guilty in his illegal gambling trial yesterday.
The 48-year-old, arrested two weeks ago in Texas and subsequently fired by the web gaming firm, is now being held in custody until negotiations over his bail arrangements are complete.
