Webloyalty, a US company which provides online discount and rewards schemes, has moved to the UK and signed its first UK client, Interflora.
With the deal, Interflora's customers can opt into Webloyalty’s Shopper Discounts and Rewards scheme, which offers cashback discounts of up to 40% off online purchases.

Apple is looking to tap into social networking sites as an e-commerce channel after striking a deal to distribute music with Bebo.
From today, Apple’s iTunes service will be embedded into the Bebo website – allowing its users to buy music from artists that have a Bebo profile and whose music is available via iTunes.

The big search engines deliver search results that are dramatically different, according to a new study.
The report, conducted by metasearch engine Dogpile and technology provider InfoSpace, found that first page results on Google, Yahoo!, MSN, and Ask overlap by less than 1%.

Clearly, finding the right frequency for emails is vital - emailing customers too often can put them off, while not emailing often enough can cause the same problems.

Google's Analytics traffic analysis web software has come out of beta and has added a number of new features.
The previous iteration of the service, which was rolled out in November 2005 after Google acquired Urchin, was plagued with problems but will now be switched off on July 18.
