WebAds, the Holland-based European internet advertising network, has opened a UK office in London.
The company has launched a new, localised website at webads.co.uk, and appointed a management team at premises in Clerkenwell to service advertisers and publishers in Britain and around Europe.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has announced it has reached an agreement with both comScore and Nielsen/NetRatings over auditing of their measurement techniques.
Last month, the IAB challenged both metrics firms to throw open their methods to inspection by independent auditors and expressed concern about the use of panels to measure web audiences.

US vertical property search engine Trulia has raised $10m (£5m) in a third round of funding led by Sequoia Capital. The company has now raised $17.7m (£8.9m) to date.

The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) released its 2006 Internet Advertising Revenue Report yesterday, with the figures revealing that total online ad spend reached $16.9bn (£8.5bn).
The report (PDF) shows that online ad revenue grew by 35% on 2005's figures, with a record $4.8bn (£2.4bn) in revenues for Q4 2006.

Google is reported to be buying RSS feed management and advertising firm Feedburner, which the price at around $100m (£50m).
The deal has not been officially confirmed by either party, but TechCrunch, and others are reporting that the deal has been confirmed, according to a 'source close to the deal'.

Usync is an online resource which allows indie bands and artists to establish an online presence and distribute their music without the need to go through a major label.
The site was launched by in Australia in 2001 by Aussie band Gabriel's Day, which had been overlooked by major labels yet still had a fanbase.

Internet radio in the US has been under threat recently, after the US Copyright Royalty Board (CRB) endorsed a plan to retroactively raise the royalty fees paid by webcasters.
However, SoundExchange, the organisation responsible for collecting the royalties from internet radio services, has offered to reduce the rates paid by smaller webcasters.

A survey of 2,400 UK online shoppers commissioned by MoreComputers.com has revealed the irritation many feel with the practice of 'philfing', or adding hidden charges on online sales.
The term 'philfing' stands for 'purposely hiding what I'm looking for', and the survey found that 93% of UK web users are annoyed by such hidden charges.
