Career History

Partner and Co-Founder at Essence
From June 1, 2005 and still in this role.

In 2005 my partners and I founded Essence, a digital agency born from client-side principles. Above all, whether its though great creative, in-depth analysis or cutting edge Web Design, we're committed to creating real value for our clients. Today our major clients include Google, eBay, eHamony, Carphone Warehouse, Cancer Research UK and many more.

Head of Acqusition at Create / Lloyds TSB

Before helping setup Essence I was client side - Head of Acquisition at Create, a division of Lloyds TSB, where I oversaw a cross-channel marketing budget of some £23m spanning everything from Direct Mail to PPC Search. I also oversaw an intnernal digital agency with a media turnover of £13m, spanning all of Lloyds TSB's product portfolio.

Strategy at Accucard

Create was itself born from a startup called Accucard, in which I first got involved in Web design & build, digital marketing and heavy analytics.

Business Analyst at Capital One

I started out my career as a Business Analyst at Capital One, where I helped shape business growth strategy in the UK and Europe.

Education and Qualifications

I have a BSc in Government and Economics from the London School of Economics, where I ended up after completing my European Baccalaureate.
