About Me
I have over 15 years' experience in web design and development, with agencies specialising in fashion, e-commerce, social media and online publishing. I have worked in a variety of roles including designer, developer, project manager and account director, focusing over the last eight years on user experience architecture.
Having led teams of information architects developing the user experience for major e-business programmes with clients such as Friends Provident, Bupa Health Assurance and Scottish Widows, I also have a track record in partnering with senior client stakeholders.
I work with clients to develop strategies that embed a user-centred approach within businesses; mentoring and up-skilling client teams, as well as measuring and communicating the benefits of user-centred design within organisations.
My focus is interaction design – creating innovative and compelling user experiences that allow brands to forge stronger and more intimate relationships with their customers, helping clients to embrace technological change and look beyond traditional online media to the opportunities that mobile, augmented reality and touch technologies present.
I am a certified Prince 2 project manager and a member of the Usability Professionals’ Association and the Interaction Design Association.
