About Me
I'm a communications professional with a confirmed interest/preference for new media and the opportunities and challenges that it presents to brands / corporates / campaigns smart enough to take the plunge. Recently based in India for 3yrs as a Digital PR consultant at an image management agency I have an academic background in business and tourism & hospitality management.
While I'm keen to try a social media tool at least once my real interest lies in understanding the fundamentals of this platform and the dimensions that come into play when we take in elements such as 1) culture (West vs. South Asia vs. sub-Sahara Africa vs. Latino..etc). My ultimate goal is to continue to be a student of the, 2) Internet access by desired target audiences, 3) developments in the facilitators of information access (e.g. mobile phone penetration in India, etc), and more.
I'm inspired by and crave anything and all things creative :-)
