Global Digital Commerce Manager at Electronic Arts

Developed and executed EA’s European online digital commerce strategy focused on accelerating consumer awareness and sales for EA's franchises across the Online Digital arena. With a view to drive Electronic Arts to a leadership position in the European Online Digital markets by partnering with Labels and first parties to publish, monetize and market class-leading content and services. Managed all of CPW's websites (6 sites) including talktalk.co.uk and carphonewarehouse.com. Successfully submitted business cases that led to winning two 'best online retailer' awards in 2006. Developed and implemented the overall strategy for the company’s online business. Including introducing the consumer forums which were a great success. Directly managed a team of 26, improved the management structures and processes of the business as it grew and evolved. Responsible for managing the online P&L, and maximized the business’s online commercial success, creating relationships with networks and manufacturers directly, and implementing SEO, affiliate and affinity marketing initiatives and 3rd party product partnerships. With focus on the consumer’s full online experience, whilst also maintaining the best possible usability and accessibility. Main interface for cross business relationships at a director level and above, ensuring IT, DM, Direct Channels, Trading, Logistics, Operations and Design Studio all delivered to expectations. Vice President - Ecommerce and Marketing at Riverdeep Interactive Learning

Remit was to turn two of Riverdeep’s websites into an ecommerce platform, and to head up the Direct to Consumer division (DTC) and take ownership of the number. The web sites included up to 5,000 sku’s at any one time. This involved communicating with various third party vendors and making a decision as to which vendor was the best one for the short and long term business strategy, and project managing the whole process. Also led the DTC team to re-model their 2005 plan and guided the two directors to take ownership for their number, whilst maintaining responsibility of the $14.5 million yearly target and P&L. This included lending expertise to the business unit across Search & Affiliates, E-mail Marketing, Web Advertising, Third Party Products, Product Development and Merchandising. Took responsibility for the re-modelling of the division, including the hiring of new staff and re-training of others.
