About Me
Helen Mitchell is an e-marketing and e-commerce specialist with over 10 years experience working with digital technologies in financial services, not-for-profit organisations and e-learning.
Helen has been Director of EMEA E-commerce and Business Intelligence at Fidelity, the global investment management company. In this role she lead the strategic development of Fidelity’s online businesses in Europe, Middle East and Africa, including the next generation customer experience for 17 of the biggest markets. As head of Business Intelligence, she also established a KPI-based measurement strategy for Fidelity’s customer contact channels across web, phone and paper in order to monitor operational cost, revenues and marketing effectiveness.
Before joining Fidelity, Helen worked as a consultant to companies seeking to develop e-commerce propositions to maximise revenues and brand awareness, and prior to that she was Vice President at Deutsche Bank, responsible for e-commerce for pan-European equities and structured products. Whilst at Deutsche Bank she developed several industry-leading web sites including a research and trading portal rolled out across all major EU markets and the well-know Xavex x-markets platform.
She has also worked for Bankers Trust, an American investment bank, and re-launched their internet web site for retail and institutional clients in Germany, Switzerland and Benelux for equities and fixed income derivatives.
