About Me

Kurt Robert Wilson has over 15 years experience in delivering successful global ecommerce solutions and multi channel retail projects for a wide range of clients. Before setting up Advansys, Kurt achieved a Joint Honours BSc degree in Economics and Accounting with Finance, but realised his passion was software development and decided to complete a MSc in Computer Science. After leaving University he spent three years as an IT consultant specialising in implementing financial solutions, data warehousing and bespoke web applications for blue chip companies such as GSK, Capita, The Carphone Warehouse, First Choice Holidays, Direct Wines and The National Trust.

After setting up and later selling a multi million pound automotive tool company with his father during his gap year at university Kurt had the desire to own and run his own successful internet company specialising in ecommerce, web development, multi channel retail and internet marketing: Advansys was born April 28th 2000!

What makes Kurt different is that he has a strong technical background coupled with good business sense, in other words he knows how to develop workflow solutions that solve business pain by streamlining business processes, preventing duplicated data, increasing revenue, reducing costs and ultimately increasing profit. He is an expert in building ecommerce solutions, bespoke web based applicaions SEO and online marketing strategies.

The proof of the pudding is in the eating; below are a selection of comments from employees and customers where Kurt has made a huge difference to their knowledge and success with online business due to his expertise.
