Simply Media TV is one of the UK’s leading digital entertainment providers, distributing thousands of hours of programming over satellite, cable and broadband Internet. The company operates 15 digital TV channels and is bringing the best online video entertainment to a wider audience via its specialist web TV channels and IPTV platform. Simply Media produces aggregates and distributes video content for clients including iVillage, Barclays, HBOS, MSN, Nestle and Borders.
I am an Account Manager within the recently launched agency division of the company. Currently managing accounts with HBOS, The Private Clinic, MSN and COI. My role includes liaising direct with clients and managing all the internal and external elements of the projects including technical, production, marketing and press.
My account management role is coupled with my role as PR Manager. When I began working at Simply I worked across both our consumer and corporate brands. As the company has grown my focus has switched to the corporate side. This involves making sure the company is reguraly written about in the trade press and putting our CEO forward for relevant speaking opportunities.
