About Me
Michael Endres is a veteran Internet executive with 14 years of experience developing digital strategy and interactive programs for leading companies. In his role as Director in Sapient's Washington, DC office, Michael is responsible for helping frame client solutions to apply Sapient's end-to-end capabilities in interactive marketing, web design and development, business applications and outsourcing.
Michael was formerly on the management team at NavigationArts and helped grow the firm into a leading regional user experience consultancy, developing web strategy, design and implemention for clients including NASDAQ, U.S. Department of State, PBS, NPR, and the Washington Post. Prior to that he was a a founder and partner at Siteworx, an Internet software development firm, and before that, a founder and CEO of The New Media Group, a prominent Internet design company based in Reston, Virginia. At these companies, Michael was the account lead for numerous large-scale Internet projects, including work for America Online, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, World Bank, College Board, and the USDA Forest Service.
Michael is a co-founder of the Web Managers Roundtable, the capital area's leading Internet professional group, and a member of the Usability Professionals Association. He has received numerous awards including a NewMedia Invision Gold Award, Top Producer Awards from AV Video, and a SIGCAT SARA Award. Michael studied political science at George Washington University and was an adjunct professor in GWU's Interactive Media Program.
