As President of Harrison Marketing and former VP of Marketing of The Class Produce Group, I have been involved and responsible for all stages of the Marketing process. I have researched industries throughout the supply chain. For example, in Agriculture, researching grower/shipper, wholesaler, retailer, foodservice, and government regulatory bodies. I have been responsible as Project Manager for writing all Proposal for government contracts. I have created million dollar plus advertising campaigns, and launch of new companies. For The Class Produce Group, we created Intellispec, an online video inspection service for produce. I was responsible of design and creation of blog, website, all marketing materials, trade-shows, etc. The Class Produce Group has launched many new products into the marketplace including Wonderfruit, a specialty stone fruit. I created ad campaigns for Wonderfruit that included, community events, mascots, TV commercials, radio, print ad, online ads, etc. As Project Manager, I worked closely with our IT department go upgrade accounting software from a UNIX environment to a windows based system. I was responsible for testing all modules, working closely with the software developer and training all employees on the new system. We also upgraded our 180,000 sq/ft warehouse with wireless technology so we could implement wireless handheld scanner to produce barcodes for all products. Again, I tested the software and trained all employees.
As President of Harrison Marketing, I help many companies in all aspects of business development, from branding, social media, web design/development, analytics, operations, finance, customer service. For example I just created a site for the nation's leading Produce Consultant. We did Search Engine Optimization in which he is on page one of the big three search engines with many search terms. I also did extensive market research, new market penetration, segmentation, and analysis for them to help them land BASF in Germany as a client. I also have done extensive video and photography work for clients in their branding efforts.
As an Adjunct Professor at University of Baltimore, I helped them integrate social media into their undergraduate marketing program. I also created procedures on how to determine the competitiveness of new markets, specifically within the Pharmaceutical market segment.
Lastly I am familiar with most Adobe software (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Encore, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Flash, Audition, etc.). Being able create all graphics, print, web, video, and photography has always saved my employer a tremendous amount of money by not outsourcing. I also have working IT knowledge, project management, software development, and being an Executive Chef proved to be a tremendous asset for my employers and clients.
