Career History
Delegate Relations Manager at dmg::events (DMGT)
From November 3, 2009 until July 31, 2012.
• Delegate Relations on all my assigned events, being the primary contact to the leading companies within the Gas Industry. This covered delegate registrations, information requests and initiating communications with other departments, on up to three events at one time.
• Provided consultancy to ALL departments, for successful event execution. These included proofing Marketing and Content materials, for both new & existing clients, promoting our events. Working with Finance to assist in solving any issues created from pending/completed payments and generating documented analysis of ALL event materials for Senior Management.
• I directly managed the Social Media activities of LinkedIn and Twitter for two of my events.
• Managing client’s onsite at events, providing assistance and promoting future events.
• I head-up the dmg social committee, who were responsible for organising all external social activities for staff four times a year.

I was part of the delegate sales team, working predominantly on ‘The Future TV Show' and 'The Interactive TV Show’ events, before being transferring over to the Defence & Security division.
• Cold-calling new business targets, selling the various digital media events in the WTG calendar (the company then was known as Access Events International), which were International.
• Research companies to identify and target the relevant individuals, for both my own and the team’s sales (I was given the unofficial title from my at-the-time Manager, Head of Research).
