About Me

Peter Sejersen works as an Analyst at J. Boye where he started in 2008. In 2009 Peter co-authored the report Best Practices for Selecting a CMS published by J. Boye. Peter has also contributed to the The Enterprise Social Software and Collaboration Report and The Enterprise Portals Report; both published by CMS Watch. Peter is currently working on a new evaluation report on Google in the Enterprise, also together with CMS Watch.

In addition, Peter manages several groups in our Communities of Practice and regularly works with speakers on our global events. He also helps customers to choose the right CMS and to get through the entire process without stumbling over neverending RFPs. This includes keeping track of the marketplace and getting regular vendor briefings.

In 2008 Peter received his MA in Multimedia Science and Literature from the University of Aarhus. His thesis argues the necessity of looking beyond the interface as a surface with usability as the top priority, exemplified by Google. The thesis can be downloaded here.

In his limited sparetime, Peter is a dedicated music festival enthusiast and often attends both the Roskilde Festival, the Skanderborg Festival and the Samsø Festival.
