About Me

I am currently working as an independent media consultant and trainer in New York. My core competencies are writing/editing with a specialty in marketing and digital brand development.

I'm available for contract assignments and am also open to a fulltime position.

Prior to this, I worked in El Salvador on a Knight Fellowship, assisting www.elfaro.net with digital development and sustainability.

This involved directing a complete re-branding and restructuring so as to roll out various new delivery methods and business models to support elfaro's respected position as a uniquely independent voice in the region.

Previously, I worked for France 24 as a reporter/broadcaster, and made The Transition (print to online) at the HELLO! group of publications, where my editorial career line mutated into New Media Director, covering digital Sales/Marketing and business development as well as management and editorial.

I also work as a voice talent, and this mixed background gave me a head start in the digital journalism world, where text, camera, sound and image merge to new effect.
