About Me

Marketing Manager at fully integrated and award winning digital agency Crafted, I am responsible for the company's marketing and PR activities.

Before joining Crafted, I was PR and Marketing Executive for mobile ICT management expert LapSafe® Products, where I handled public relations campaigns across the regional, national and trade press, substantially grew the brand’s Twitter following and ran a highly successful competition, which received more than 7,000 entries from primary school children across the UK, amongst other things.

Previously, I worked at London integrated agency Kindred, where I helped deliver successful communications for organisations including the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), ConstructionSkills and the British Association of Dermatologists.

Responsible for PR activities and campaigns, events, the brand's Twitter feeds, blogging, social media activities sponsorship and publicity.

Graduate Trainee at Kindred

Daily client contact for the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and ConstructionSkills, handling client and press queries and exceeding client expectations. Wrote and sold-in press releases and articles, including a regular Guardian ‘Career’s Blog’ and bylines for trade titles, including eGovMonitor, HR Changeboard and Post Magazine. Conducted daily media sweeps, identified stories to react to and recommended responses. Drafted and secured letters in the regional and national press and a reactive ‘Soap-box’ piece in the Financial Times. Secured large volumes of national, regional and trade broadcast, print and online media coverage for high-profile campaigns. Highlights include obtaining more than 500 pieces of coverage for the CMI Gender Salary Survey campaign, including the front page of the Guardian and coverage in Glamour and on Cosmopolitan.co.uk, and surpassing coverage targets on every project. Monitored, logged and analysed coverage and compiled campaign collateral, including spokesperson documents. Also worked on City Challenge, Aimhigher and Ultimate Skincare.
