Will Rowan's roots are in agency-side direct marketing – the art of using customer information for profit.
When the web arrived Will worked out which direct marketing principles apply online. And which don’t. Through his consultancy TheCustomer he’s built web-savvy, marketing-led business strategies that work.
Consultancy clients include eGovernment & business advisory services, retail (banking, foods & white goods), online gaming, and Business to business Web 2.0 software & information services.
In 2002 he set up MorningPapers - an easy, clever & quick virtual typing service, based in Wessex & Kerala (India).
As speaker & author for The Institute of Direct Marketing on digital marketing he’s written modules of the Certificate and Diploma in Digital Marketing, and the E-mail Marketing chapter for the 2006 Practitioner’s Guide to Direct and Digital Marketing.
Will is also the author of Digital Marketing and The eCommerce Pocketbook, (2nd Edition 2006) and the forthcoming Virtual Team Insights Handbook.
